Summary of Biodata

Dr Noorharliana Mohamed Zohdi graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2005 and has worked as a dental officer in the Ministry of Health (MOH) for 3 years before switching to the academic line in 2008.

Her early education started in Pudu Girls School, Kuala Lumpur before being accepted to MRSM Beseri which she attended from 1997 to 1998. She met Dr Muhammad Nazli Haffiz Ghazali during their undergraduate degree and they got married in late 2007.

She started her career in the MOH in July 2005 and was posted to Batu Pahat, Johor for 6 months before being transferred to Muar, Johor in 2006. She spent a further 1 and a half years before she returned to Kuala Lumpur which she served as a dental officer in Bandar Tun Razak Government Dental Clinic. During her service with the MOH, she had the opportunity to work in various specialties, namely Restorative Dentistry, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics.

Dr Noorharliana has deep interest in endodontics and have been using Protaper hand instruments for her patients. She will soon proceed with using rotary instruments and further her studies in the field. She believes in the preservation of natural teeth along with proper oral care is ideal for an optimum oral health. She hopes to contribute towards the research of regenerative endodontics and further expand the field for the benefit of patients and the profession.
