I assumed the deanship of the Faculty of Dentistry on March 24, 2006. I am honored to serve as the founding dean of this faculty and together with a young, energetic and committed team; we aspire to bring this faculty to a high level of excellence, glory and distinction.
Despite being relatively new, we are already offering postgraduate programs both at the Masters and PhD level. Our undergraduate dental program is running very smoothly and the students are thoroughly enjoying their learning experience in our new facilities alongside their medical colleagues. We are equipping our teaching clinics and research laboratories with state of the art equipments to cater the needs of both our undergraduate and postgraduate students.

We are indeed very grateful to other faculties in the science and technology cluster for their generosity in sharing their facilities to enable us to propagate research activities in dental faculty. We are also indebted to Medical Faculty whose staff has willingly and committed to teaching Basic Medical Sciences to our students. Thank you very much for your help, collaboration and generosity. To my staff, I thank you for your undivided support and spirit of teamwork in building up this faculty and together we will bring this faculty to greater height.
