Research Interest: Traditional Medicine and Natural Product (Drug discovery), Molecular Biology and Structural Biology.

Senior lecturer in the Centre of Preclinical  Science Studies, Faculty of Dentistry. Has been teaching Oral Biology and Microbiology for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry / Master of Science in Dentistry for more than 10 years. 

Currently is the coordinator for Dissertation (Doctor in programme)  and PRISMa (Publication Repository Information System Management UiTM).

Has supervised/on-going 8 undergraduate projects as main supervisor and 7 as co-supervisor. Also currently supervising 1 postgraduate student as main and 2 as Co-supervisor.
